Elephant’s ‘do’ Shit

January 28, 2008 at 9:31 pm (News, Politics) (, , , )

The UNP have done it again. They have openly expressed their colonial allegiance.

According to the daily mirror the UNP are going to boycott the national day. The same people who celebrated the start of the colonial occupation some time back have declared their dislike for our independence.

The UNP of course have their usual excuse. They don’t like the government or their methods. Big-Deal. But independence day does not belong to the government. It belongs to the free people of Sri Lanka. By boycotting the independence day the UNP are boycotting the people of Sri Lanka. And they are shitting on the leader who made it possible for us to get it.

I’m sure the peacenicks are loving this idea. Another form of passive protest. How can a Real Sri Lankan ignore the independence day. This just prove that the UNP are not Sri Lankan, and that they are not serving the people of Sri Lanka.

It’s time some un-identified gun men took care of Ranil W. and his cronies and end the colonial occupation in Sri Lanka once and for all.

Amnesty For Terrorists

January 27, 2008 at 9:32 am (NGOs, Opinion) (, , , , , , , , , )

Once again Amnesty International (AI) has come to the aid of the LTTE.  Apparently they are concerned over the “media men covering the conflict” And because “one journalist had not left the office for a year”. (I guess they just noticed that, because not leaving the office for one month would have been news too)

Funny thing is that they seem to have just noticed that. With the LTTE getting hit in their jungles bases they seem to have run out of the things to accuse the SL armed forces. AI never have expressed their “concern” over the innocent civilians threatened by the LTTE and continue to fool the Sri Lankan people and the International community by just condemning the LTTE attacks..

Where is AI when Sinhalese civilians get killed? Where IS there concern? How come only pro-LTTE papers fall under their concern.

This make me wonder why Uthayan is allowed to exist? It’s obviously a pro-LTTE paper and the government should ban it like they banned SUN FM. The SL government should not be worried about adhering to the law and pleasing the LTTE-NGOs. National security comes first.

AI couldnt express their concern time and time again if the govt. just ban Uthayan and be done with it. It’ll give the FMM some thing to protest about and Kumar Rupasinhe would make some more money out of the NGO “donations”. And they’ll all go home feeling the better. It’ll be a one time thing and everybody will forget it in a week or two.

I must urge the GoSL to follow this strategy. Just get rid of what ever AI and the rest of those NGOs express their “concern” about. Then they’ll have nothing to express their concern.

Who Does Mahinda Thinks he’s kidding

January 25, 2008 at 8:54 am (Opinion, Politics) (, , , , , , , , )

Well after 63 sessions and what seems to be a life time of negations and deadlines the APRC is finally out. And what’s the solution? Some thing already thought about 20 years ago.  Great job by Tissa Vitharana. Basically his solution is to “implement” the already given solution. Which hadn’t worked for the last 20 years. The 13th amendment

  • Didn’t stop the LTTE
  • Didn’t stop the Tamils of hating Sinhalese.
  • Didn’t stop the so called Tamil moderates of wanting more power.

What has changed in since then for it to work? NOTHING. The Tamils (Or the moderate and extremist Tamil leadership) seem to be content on getting the LTTE’s Eelam or Chelvanagams federal sovereignty

It’s obvious that the Tamils don’t want to leave peacefully in Sri Lanka. So why does Mahinda even bother with this farce. He was not elected on Sinhalese votes please the Tamils.(Or the International Community) Tamils (short of the LTTE) did everything they can to stop Mahinda winning. Even now none of the “moderate” Tamils want the government to win against the LTTE because it would mean that they would lose their bargaining power.

Tamils need to accept that they are migrants and not locals. Where in the world have they created an independent state for a migrant population?

No one in their right mind is going to fall to this APRC crap. Which never was “All Party” and never was a “committee”.

Denied Responsibility

January 22, 2008 at 11:55 pm (Opinion) (, , , , , , , )

It’s really interesting that Tamils are not considered responsible for the atrocities committed by the LTTE. In the world there wouldn’t be a single Tamil who’d say that the “Sinhalese” are responsible for Black July. And you’ll probably find that 99% of the Sinhalese would agree (1% being people like me of course).

Then why aren’t the Tamil hold up to the same standard? What I think is that Tamils should apologize to the Sinhalese every time the LTTE kills civilians. After all 100% of the LTTE are Tamil (leaving out Ranil and Solhiem of course).

Why aren’t they? Tamils are quite quick to say they don’t support the LTTE, but neither does 75% of the Sinhalese support the UNP (who committed black july: more on that later) . So why a different rule for Sinhalese and another for Tamils? Isn’t it obvious, we are fed crap from our colonial masters so much that even the extremist like the JHU believe it.

Why the hell would we (the Sinhalese) keep saying we’re sorry for black July while Tamil just pass by incidents like Thanamanwila? How many Tamil leaders apologized the Sinhalese community for that massacre?

Some one needs to stop this shit. Tamil need to get over black July and start apologizing for the deaths and destruction which are supposedly done in their name. Until that I don’t think they’ll ever get pass the “terrorist” label.

Industrialized Stone Age

January 21, 2008 at 1:00 pm (Thoughts) ()

This morning power cut at around 6AM is said to be because of fault at a single sub station. Why the hell are we connected to a single grid? Who operates like that? Well apparently it’s the Sri Lankan Electricity system.

On top of being stupid it’s a huge security risk. All the terrorists have to do is hit a single station and the power will be cut for the entire island. And why the hell does these things happen in the morning? Exactly when people are ironing their cloths? I smell a conspiracy. I remember the exact same thing happening a couple of months ago.

Is no one paying attention to the system? Or at least cant they make sure they happen between 8 AM-5 PM ?
